Flood damage situation between contrasting urban landscapes Integrated flood risk management requires combined planning of rivers and urban areas. However, flood risk-based urban planning is not reasonable due to various social, economic and cultural constrains/contexts. In this theme, I assesses the future climate change impacts on urban flood risk and analyzes human/social behavioral aspects in urban planning with flood risk management.
